Latitude D620 LCD brightness issue

Running an Ubuntu feisty (x86), I've installed (rebuilded debs)
libsmbios 0.13.6 and hal 0.5.9 (packages backported from the gutsy
pool).

I've then tried to play a bit with the libsmbios provided tools, and
ended up with an LCD brightness issues. The Fn keys (up / down)
doesn't work (nothing impacted). Only the Fn Auto switch the LCD from
a dark to a light setting. But being on AC power, the screen is really
dark, and I can't find a way to address it through dellLcdBrightness
(-v only affect the battery setting!).

The question is: How can set the ac value with dellLcdBrightness?

Some outputs:
$ dellLcdBrightness -b
Read Battery Mode Setting
    current: 7
        min: 0
        max: 7

$ dellLcdBrightness -a
Read AC Mode Setting
    current: 0
        min: 0
        max: 7

Thanks for your help, and work on libsmbios and HAL,
Arnaud
