If a the HDD in your system did crash I belive tech support will send
recovery media with an engineer to be able to restore the system.
E.g I would try to call support and tell them you had a software crash
and need to reinstall your system to recover. I might be wrong, but I
belive there is a chanse support will simply send you the recovery media
at no cost.
In some cases there is an application on the system that will let you
burn a recovery CD using already installed files.
