If you plan to use OpenGL applications, I'd suggest you consider the
Dell Precision M65 over the Latitude D820. They are similar systems, but
the M65 provides hardware OpenGL which should translate into a ~40%
performance benefit in demanding OpenGL workloads.

Novell is in the process of certifying the M65 with SLED.

I am currently using a D820 but I have the Intel chipset and running
Ubuntu Edgy 6.10.
I have everything working but no 3D (Beryl, Compviz). I haven't even
tried.
