I believe the docking station audio-out port does not function
properly under Linux, while the headphone jack does continue to
function properly. We've talked with the docking team to see what can
be done. But at the moment, what you are experiencing is the same,
regardless of distributions.

Fundamentally, we need to get some dock-awareness into the audio
drivers, to enable the output jack on the dock, at any audio
resolution (e.g. 44.1k).

Thanks,
Matt
