The only 2 distros I got the sigma-tel sound to work with were Mandriva
free 64 2007 and TA Pioneer Free i686 (almost pure Kubuntu). I gave up
and installed a PCI sound card and turned off the onboard sound. The new
card works with every distro I've tried.
