Linspire Live Cd Will Not Install To Harddrive.

Hello,

I need some help.

My brother, who lives far from me in NJ, wants to give Linux a try. I
suggested he try Linspire. He has sucessfully downloaded and burned to
cd a Linspire full 5.1.427.iso. The live cd
boots up and works. But when he tries to install it to the harddrive,
he gets a 'can not find harddrive error'. Can anyone help us? What
other distros will work with a Dell Dimension Desktop Computer? He is
a novice to Linux and I picked Linspire for it's similarity to
Windows. It's supposed to be easy to install and use and comes with
most Codecs already installed. Please, does anyone have any advice for
us.
