Bluetooth + LED + Debian on 1525

The LEDs on devices such as your bluetooth set and your Intel wireless
adaptor are not controlled through the BIOS.
The LED state is a function of the drivers and the devices.
The iwlwifi drivers (iwl4965 and iwl3945), as currently bundled with
Linux kernel 2.6.24 do not have LED support implemented. Later versions
of iwlwifi do have LED support but have not made it into a stable kernel
as yet, and the versions bundled into compat-wireless
(http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Download,
http://www.intellinuxwireless.org/?n=Info) are not stable in terms of
sustained connection under load, so I would just wait for the next
kernel release and see if LED support makes it into the next kernel
build.
With regards to your bluetooth problem, I would ask questions first at
the Bluez forum - http://www.bluez.org/) or with your Distro
maintainers. This sounds again, more like a driver issue rather than a
BIOS control issue.
Cheers,
JonB
