I would actually really like to make precompiled versions available,
especially since I get asked pretty often.

My problem currently is that I dont have a windows development
environment, nor do I especially want the trouble of maintaining one. So
far, nobody has volunteered to maintain a build machine. If somebody
would maintain one, I'd not mind scripting it so that it automatically
rebuilds each new release.
