Hmm... I have an older precision at home and I noticed that the probes are in a different range on that system. Can you see if there are any at all in the 0xFxxx range? Please attach the output of dumpCmos. I was able to get cpu temp/etc on my system at home. The probes binary (with a hefty amount of cleanup) can provide this information.
