Latitude C640 BIOS upgrade to A10

I tried under Fedora 7 to use the technique described at:
http://linux.dell.com/wiki/index.php/Repository/firmware#Putting_it_all_together

to raise the BIOS on a Latitude C640 from A09 to the latest: A10.

"For Fedora and CentOS:

# set up repos
wget -q -O - http://linux.dell.com/yum/software/bootstrap.cgi | bash
wget -q -O - http://linux.dell.com/repo/firmware/bootstrap.cgi | bash
# install firmware tools
yum -y install firmware-addon-dell
# install BIOS update
yum -y install $(bootstrap_firmware -b)"

all went fine, but:

"update_firmware"

simply indicated that no update could be found, implying that A09 is 
the latest, which is not the case.

Any ideas folks?
