libsmbios compatible motherboards?

Ok, so my mailer misfiled this message and I just found it while cleaning up... Sorry for the delay.

Libsmbios should be compatible with all intel-compatible motherboards as it decodes the DMI standard SMBIOS tables. There are some dell extensions on top of this because Dell encodes some proprietary vendor information in the vendor-proprietary reserved smbios structures. Things like the cmos token control wont work for anybody except Dell.

Aside from that, everything else should work.

Well, I´d like to know if are there any libsmbios compatible motherboards outside those from Dell.

I don´t own a Dell (Dell prices are outrageous in my country) but I´d like to play around with libsmbios cause I plan on buying a Dell notebook in the future (not in my country, of course =P ).

As of now, I´m about to buy a core 2 duo, and a new motherboard to go with that, and I remember reading somewhere that MSI was interested on lismbios .. or something like that .. can´t remember very well ...

I tried googling it up, but came up empty handed =(

So basically, I´d pretty much like to buy a lismbios compatible motherboard in order to be able to play around with it (I´ve got this crazy idea about creating a gui app to present and control motherboard info ;) ).

Any hints will be greatly appreciated.
