Yes, it would be faster if I had a full list. I think I may have a link somewhere, but I'll have to dig.

The original list is from a code file where I didnt *need* the names, so I didnt put them in. Now, I'm having to go back and re-cross reference everthing.

As for your GX1, it looks to me like it should work.

Some update for the name of unsupported systems I found :

0x0094 : OptiPlex GX100
0x0093 : Optiplex GX200
0x00BE : OptiPlex GX150

Optiplex Gx1 and friend is not on the list. Does it mean that it's 
supported ;-p
0x0082 : Optiplex GX1 / NX1 / GX1p
