Michael,

I also did some putzing with my xserver, and the DPMS options... this
seems to work ok.... i have one other question...

My laptop has a sensor, and an automatic light control feature that i
can turn on and off with a fn-(star-auto) key... is there any way of
turning on or off this automatic adjustment of backlight feature with
libsmbios?

Thanks again.

Brian
