Hello all.

I am running ubuntu intrepid on a vostro 1710. This laptop is running very
hot under ubuntu and one of the reccomended actions is to upgrade the bios.

I see that latest bios on the downloads page is a12 and mine is a02 but
firmware tool does not see any bios later than a02.

I did the following
wget -q -O - http
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP>://linux<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux>
.dell.com/repo/firmware/bootstrap.cgi | bash
aptitude <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aptitude> install firmware-addon-dell
aptitude install $(bootstrap_firmware -a)
update_firmware

but the install $(bootstrap_firmware -a) command gives a series of error
saying package now found.

How can I update my bios? Am I pointing at the wrong repos?
This is where I am pointing to now.

deb http://linux.dell.com/repo intrepid dell-software
deb http://linux.dell.com/repo cross-distro dell-firmware

Thanks.
