Hello,
It appears the firmware in the
PERC_5_i_Integrated_ven_0x1028_dev_0x0015_subven_0x1028_subdev_0x1f03-a0
9-21 package is not compatible with PERC 5/i cards, or is corrupted
(25fdd0db555be4fa1d4b687e83bc7707 payload/FW5461II.rom). If you try to
run sasdupie by hand, this is the output:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><SVMExecution lang="en"><Device
vendorID="1028" deviceID="0015" subDeviceID="1f03" subVendorID="1028"
bus="2" device="e" function="0" display="PERC 5/i Integrated Controller

result="false"><Message id="2">The operation failed due to an invalid
image file.</Message></SPStatus></Application></Device><SPStatus result
= "false"><Message id="2">The operation failed due to an invalid image
file.</Message></SPStatus><RebootRequired>0</RebootRequired></SVMExecuti
on>
I downloaded firmware version 5.2.2-0072
(9a98da45c78375d234e588828b333725 FW5461II.rom), and ran sasdupie,
which updated the firmware with no issue.
So, my question is, does the package have the wrong firmware? or did the
repo give me the wrong package?
Best
Patrick
