Simple Firmware Query

It would be nice if the Dell firmware repository data was available in XML format or via an XML Web Service like http://www.webservicex.net/WCF/webServices.aspx. The idea is to make it more accessible for other operating systems such as Microsoft Windows. A query for Model=Optiplex 755&Firmware=BIOS would return the URL for the newest bios.hdr files for that model. That’s simplified, since it should use standard naming conventions such as Vendor/VEN, Device/DEV, Subsystem/SUBSYS, and Version/VERSION, or a Model and Firmware type.
  If there is already something like this in place, I’m not aware of it and would like to know.
