That is somewhat odd. You should report to the DUP team, as there isnt anything I can do about that in firmware-tools.

When I have a DUP running (RAID_FRMW_LX_R126665.BIN), the system does not respond to user commands. GUI stops responding to clicks (mouse works). Text console responds to keystrokes, but after hitting ENTER, nothing happens. Running "top" did not help either as top stops updating the screen when DUP runs. I am not sure if sar was setup on the machine (i think not).

  # while true; do date; sleep 1; done

stops when DUP run and continues when the DUP completes.

The same behavior is seen when DUPs are run from firmware-tools.

Is this a known issue?
