Patrick,
dkms is telling you that the megaraid_sas driver already available (that
is, included in the 2.6.9-67.0.1ELsmp kernel) is newer than the version
you are trying to install. You don't need to locate 3.13, it's already
there.
Dell does have a newer version of the megaraid_sas driver (v3.16)
available on support.dell.com. While you are updating the driver, you
may also want to confirm you are on the latest firmware level on your
PERC5i.
For both of these downloads, start your drivers search by selecting the
system you are using. Once there you can filter the downloads by 'SAS
RAID Controller'.

Hi,
many thanks for your help. But i have another problem now.
Dmks install outputs the following error:
dkms install -m megaraid_sas -v v00.00.03.09 -k 2.6.9-67.0.1.ELsmp
Running module version sanity check.
Error! Module version 00.00.03.09 for megaraid_sas.ko is not newer than
what is already found in kernel 2.6.9-67.0.1.ELsmp (00.00.03.13).
You may override by specifying --force.
Should i try it with force? Or is there version 00.00.03.13 available
anywhere?
I have got the following controller:
# lspci | grep RAID
02:0e.0 RAID bus controller: Dell PowerEdge Expandable RAID controller
5i
regards,
patrick
