Newbie have some question

DKMS is not a driver. DKMS is a framework that can help driver authors create drivers.

You really need to use latest version of Centos, which should be 4.5. The new version has support for just about all of the Dell RAID cards.

If you still have problems, the driver disks for RHEL4 that we post on our support site should work with CentOS.

  Assume I bought a Dell server and I want install a Centos 4.4 on this server,
  but Centos 4.4 cannot detect the Raid card driver, howcome to install DKMS
  on the server ?? or need another computer that installed Centos 4.4 to use
