dkms build problems

Im with a big problem, when installing a dkms package, when reaches the 'make 
prepare' part it never leaves from there, it just goes adding ...... 
indeffinatly, see this output:

      4/4: nvidia100xx

Creating symlink /var/lib/dkms/nvidia100xx/100.14.11-1mde2007.1/source ->
                 /usr/src/nvidia100xx-100.14.11-1mde2007.1

DKMS: add Completed.

Preparing kernel 2.6.21-2mde for module build:
(This is not compiling a kernel, just preparing kernel symbols)
Storing current .config to be restored when complete
Running Generic preparation routine
make mrproper....
using /proc/config.gz
make oldconfig....
make 
prepare....................................................................................................................

This never happened in other machines with same kernel.

Can anyone help about this matter?
