2.6.19.1 should have a newer driver version than what's provided in
DKMS format for RHEL4. So no DKMS drivers should be needed.

In general, no. The kernel APIs change enough between when the vendors
ship it (nearly 2 years ago now for RHEL4) and today such that drivers
written for RHEL4 won't build cleanly in a kernel.org kernel released a couple
weeks ago. That said, the drivers released for RHEL4 (either in Red
Hat's kernel or through DKMS add-ons) are "backports" of drivers
already in the latest kernel.org kernels, so if you're running the
latest kernel.org kernel, you'll have equivalent (or better) drivers
already.
