No, and I don't think it will be any time soon - I want to work on a
higher level client/server GUI tool (Andreas and others know about this
idea) that will not only look for hardware and drivers but also:
* Use a cross-vendor standardized XML-RPC process to an independent
database to find out about new yum repos/RPM sources for drivers.
* Provide a GUI to allow the user flexibility in which of multiple
drivers is chosen, and to give them some kind of interactive response
similar to that found on other OSes with online update capabilities.
My plan is to get the "grand vision" taken care of before e.g. RHEL6 but
I agree that Michael's patches can probably go into F7 for the interim.
