aacraid-1.1.5.2392-1dkms.noarch.rpm install error

granted, I have not had to do this(compiling kernel modules) in a while,
(since custom dpt raid modules in the redhat 8 days),

but there appears to be something wrong with the
aacraid-1.1.5.2392-1dkms.noarch.rpm

We have a performance problem with our dell poweredge 830, with cerc
sata controller, so I downloaded the driver:

CERC-E-aacraid-RHEL4Gold-1.1.5.2392-A01.tar.gz

We are running RHEL4, with kernel kernel-smp-2.6.9-42.0.2.EL

so, the source for that appears to be in package
kernel-devel-2.6.9-42.0.2.EL, which provides
/usr/src/kernels/2.6.9-42.0.2.EL-i686 source tree.

when installing the aacraid rpm after getting the kernel source, I get
this error message:

[root at localhost cercdriver]# rpm -ivh
aacraid-1.1.5.2392-1dkms.noarch.rpm

Preparing... ###########################################

Loading kernel module source and prebuilt module binaries (if any)

Module build for the currently running kernel was skipped since the

kernel source for this kernel does not seem to be installed.

Your DKMS tree now includes:

aacraid, 1.1.5.2392, 2.6.9-5.ELsmp, i686: built

aacraid, 1.1.5.2392, 2.6.9-5.ELsmp, x86_64: built

aacraid, 1.1.5.2392, 2.6.9-5.ELhugemem, i686: built

aacraid, 1.1.5.2392, 2.6.9-5.EL, i686: built

aacraid, 1.1.5.2392, 2.6.9-5.EL, x86_64: built

is this looking for the source at a specific location,

can I symlink to it, or am I missing something?

Thanks,
