[Crowbar] IPMI

Rebuilding the ISO will pull in the changes.
If you're brave, you can look at the deltas in github, and find the right files to put into a live admin node.... But that would probably take longer.

Newbie question.. where do I do that? On the admin node? Or do I have to re-build the iso and start over?

OK, I fixed the tcpdump bug you are getting on Wednesday. Please pull the latest build and run git submodule update from the checkout to ensure that you have the fixed deployer barclamp.

Ok, I take that back -- logged into the new node,

crowbar-join-time.err shows: NTP: unrecognized service.

crowbar-join-chef.log shows:

This is an HP DL360 G7. It keeps barking about Channel 1 in not a LAN channel (which its not because of iLO I've gathered). I did do the bmc_enable: false in the json file, which got admin up and running, but now im deploying keystone to the next one and that one is failing -- im assuming for the same reason..

How is it driving you batty? What are you running on?

if you edit the IPMI proposal, you'll find a disable flag, that should turn it off. The code does check for platforms that we've found IPMI problematic on (mostly various virtual environments) - so if you've found one we haven't hit yet - it would be useful to know.

Hello all,
Im trying to get my test cluster set up, and IPMI is driving me batty. Finally got the admin node up and running by disabling it, but then the first node I try to add fails on IPMI.. Is there any way to remove or disable the IPMI barclamp for everything?
