What does PERC stand for?
PERC = PowerEdge Expandable RAID Controller 
ROMB = Raid On MotherBoard 

The '2' designation means Ultra2 SCSI (80MB/sec)
The '3' designation means Ultra160/m  (160MB/sec) SCSI. 
The 'Si' designation means single-channel internal. 
The 'Di' designation means dual-channel internal.
DC  = dual-channel add-in card
DCL = dual-channel lite (no battery backup) add-in card
DCP = dual-channel card for Precision workstations
QC  = quad-channel add-in card
SC  = single-channel add-in card
